Victor ( Dwarf ) Red Crape Myrtle

lagerstroemia indica victor

‘Victor’ is a compact crape myrtle cultivar that grows to 3-6' tall. It is an upright-rounded, deciduous shrub that features terminal crepe-papery inflorescences (6-9” long) of dark red flowers from mid to late summer, dark green foliage which turns yellow-red in fall, and reddish-brown bark which exfoliates with age. Flowers give way to round seed capsules which often persist well into winter. Great for use in smaller gardens where long lasting flowers are wanted.
