A Japanese Maple that has strong horizontal branching with unique, pendulous branch tips. Leaves emerge crimson red, maturing to burgundy red and transitioning to rusty red in the fall. Mature size is 5 to 10 feet tall and 6 to 8 feet wide.  Small size is perfect for containers.
