Freedom Bell Hybrid Camellia

camellia freedom bell

Rich, dark-green, evergreen leaves on a slow-growing, upright spreading shrub; masses of semi-double coral red fowers from December thru March. Freedom Bell Camellia is a multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with an upright spreading habit of growth. This is a relatively low maintenance shrub, and should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season's flowers. This shrub does best in partial shade to shade. It requires an evenly moist well-drained soil for optimal growth and it prefers rich, acidic soils.
