'Old Fashioned' is an upright, bushy, deciduous shrub, with oval, blue-green leaves, new growth starts out reddish-pink to reddish-purple.  feathery panicles of yellow-green flowers in late spring or early summer. Autumn brings fiery colors of red, orange-red, or reddish-purple. combines well with just about anything; asters, ornamental grasses, and Japanese maples are good places to start.
