A handsome dwarf Japanese maple with a compact form. The freely branching growth becomes dense with maturity. New foliage emerges bright red and matures to a deep maroon-red. Non-dissected leaves clustered on short shoots, it displays a bushy, tufted habit. Well-suited for use as a small lawn tree or on patios and entryways. An ideal size for a container specimen. Also great for use as Bonsai
