Spring Frost™ Distylium

Spring Frost™ is an excellent spreading evergreen shrub with unique foliage which emerges golden white with red highlights on the margins. The color holds well into the summer. Befitting its name, 'Spring Frost' is a lower growing Distylium that sports outstanding white new growth that lights up the landscape. A member of the witch hazel family, petite red flowers emerge along the branches in late winter before new leaves emerge. No other evergreen plant we've seen looks like Spring Frost Distyilium so it's sure to be a standout in your landscape!  Distylium is a good alternative for boxwood, cherry laurel, holly and juniper in foundation plantings or anywhere you want low maintenance evergreen shrubs.
