Yinbi shuanghui Fragrant Tea Olive

Osmanthus fragrans yinbi shuanghui

Osmanthus fragrans 'Yinbi shuanghui' is a rare variegated fragrant tea olive that Ted Stephens brought in from China. The colors are outstanding, pushing pink margin variegation on the new growth with most of the leaves showing a creamy white to pure white variegation on blue-green leaves. It can be grown in full sun to part shade and is quite stunning. And as per this species, it flowers in every month with an "r" in it and the blooms are significant which is rare for a variegated variety.

We expect 'Yinbi shuanghui' to reach 8-10 ft in 10 years. This plant is highly coveted by plant collectors and nurserymen. It will sell out fast, so don't wait.

The translation of the cultivar name is as follows: Yin (silver), bi (green). Shuang (double/twice), hui (splendor/brilliance).
