A dependable older variety with excellent name recognition that produces medium sized pale pink formal double flowers in mid-season. ( Feb. through April ) The plant has an upright and compact growth habit. Dark glossy oval leaves measure approx. 3 to 5 inches long by 1-3 inches wide. Prefers slightly acidic soils with filtered sun to Full shade. Great for use in shade gardens, woodland plantings, Flowering evergreen hedges,  as a specimen plant, or in large container gardening.
